Day 1

Piece:

Tell all the Truth but tell it slant---
Success in Circuit lies
Too bright for our infirm Delight
The Truth's superb surprise
As Lightening to the Children eased
With explanation kind
The Truth must dazzle gradually
Or every man be blind---

--Emily Dickinson

Method

Gradually remove all but the first letter of key words. As you continue, remove all but the first letter of key words, then take away those until you need no prompting. Once you achieve this goal, do something to take your mind off the poem for 2minutes. Then see if you can repeat the poem from memory without any hints. If you can't, start the process over until you can. If you can't manage it before your time is up, don't worry. If you can, try doing the same process with the poem A Narrow Fellow in the Grass.
